How Rudy's Archery Tracking works

A quick tour before you sign up. Learn how scoring, photo proof, personal rounds, clubs, and multi-club tournaments fit together — then create a free account when you’re ready.

1

Create an account

Sign up with your name, username, email, password, skill level, age, and location. Email is used for club approvals, tournament invites, and other notifications.

  • Free to create — no payment required to start scoring.
  • You control your personal rounds; others only see what clubs or tournaments share.
  • You can update your email later under Account.
2

Choose a scoring format

Three formats cover most indoor and outdoor practice:

Indoor

American Indoor 300

12 ends × 5 arrows. Scores 0–5 plus X. Classic club indoor format.

Indoor

Vegas 450

15 ends × 3 arrows. Scores 0–10 plus X. Fast, competitive indoor scoring.

Course

3D Archery

Per-target scoring. Set how many targets you’re shooting that day.

3

Score with photo proof

Honesty is built into the workflow. You shoot a full end (or one 3D target), then record score + photo for every arrow before the next end unlocks.

  • Use the in-app camera on your phone (HTTPS + camera permission).
  • Past ends stay locked — no bulk fixing scores after the fact.
  • Photos are compressed for storage but kept sharp enough to check a broken line on the target.
Tip: Best on a phone at the line. Desktop works too if you attach photos from a file.
4

Personal rounds — free

From the home screen, start a personal round any time — practice at home, at the range, or alone. Individual personal use is free (no Bitcoin fee for your own rounds).

  • See in-progress and completed rounds on your dashboard.
  • Open a scorecard anytime to review locked ends and photos.
  • Personal rounds are separate from club tournaments — no hosting fee.
5

Clubs & ranges

Clubs represent a range or group. Anyone can request a club; a site admin must approve it before it goes live.

  • Club page — about text, street address + map, members, active/completed shoots, leaderboards.
  • Owner — creates the club, can appoint up to 2 other admins, transfer ownership.
  • Admins — add members, host shoots, send group email to the club.
  • Complete street address (street, city, state, ZIP) is required for approval.
  • New club registration is $100 via Bitcoin (or a promo code from the site admin).

Reliability

The site is backed up daily at 00:00 CST (midnight Central Time) so your scores, photos, and club data are protected.

6

Tournaments & multi-club shoots

A tournament (shoot) is a shared event with one format, standings, and scorecards per archer. Hosting a tournament costs $20 via Bitcoin (same donation address as clubs). Joining a shoot as a shooter does not charge you that fee — only the host pays.

  • Send $20 BTC and submit the transaction ID; a site admin verifies before scoring opens.
  • Host under a club so members can join and leaders can manage the roster.
  • Multi-club — invite partner clubs; their admins accept, then their members can join.
  • Enroll whole club rosters at once, or let shooters join themselves.
  • Live standings update as people finish ends; close the shoot when you’re done.
Pricing at a glance: personal rounds free · club registration $100 BTC · host a tournament $20 BTC.
