Rudy's Archery Tracking (“the App”) is provided for personal archery scorekeeping. This policy describes what data is collected and how it is used.
Account information
When you create an account we store your name, username, email, password (hashed), skill level, age, location, and login session data. This is used to identify your account, send notifications, and show only your rounds (unless you join a club or tournament).
Shoot data and photos
Scores, notes, and photos you upload are stored on our server so you can review history. Photos may include EXIF metadata such as capture time. Do not upload images of other people without their permission. If someone reports a post or scorecard, we store the report (who reported, what, and why) so a site admin can review it.
Cookies and similar storage
We use a small number of cookies and browser storage items so the site can work securely:
- Session cookie — keeps you signed in after login (essential).
- CSRF cookie/token — helps prevent cross-site request forgery on forms (essential).
- Cookie preference — stores that you accepted this notice (localStorage, not sent to our server).
Some public pages (home when you are signed out, blog, walkthrough, pricing, and similar) may show Google ads. That uses Google cookies and similar storage to choose and measure ads. Ads are not shown during a live shoot, on sign-in or account pages, or in the Android app. We do not sell your data. You can clear cookies and site data in your browser settings at any time; doing so will sign you out.

Advertising
We use Google AdSense on a few public pages to help pay for hosting. Ads sit below the page content, not on top of scorecards. There are no ads on a live round, on login or account screens, or inside the Android app. Google may use cookies to serve and measure those ads. See Google’s advertising policy.
Camera access
The Android app and mobile browser may request camera permission so you can photograph arrows as score proof. Camera images are only sent when you choose to capture/upload them as part of a round. We do not access the camera in the background.
Finding a club
The public club list shows club name, city/state, and a short description. Street address stays on the club page for members. Requesting to join sends your username (and optional note) to club admins.
Friends
You can send or accept a friend request by username. Accepted friends can view each other’s completed scorecards and proof photos, plus profile details you already store (display name, city/state, skill, bow list, and trophy photos). In-progress rounds, email, age, and password stay private. Either person can remove the friendship at any time. You can block another user so they cannot send friend requests or view your profile. You cannot block a site admin, or an admin of a club you belong to. You can report a person for harassment, cheating, or other abuse. A site admin is always notified. If the person belongs to a club, that club’s admins are notified too.
Blogs
The public site blog is written by the site operator (Rudy) and is visible to anyone. Each club also has a members-only blog. Only club admins can publish there; club members can read those posts.
Public scorecard links
Finished rounds stay private from the public until you choose Create public link on the scorecard. That publishes scores and proof photos at a /s/… URL anyone can open. You can turn the link off anytime. Unshared rounds are not listed for search engines. Friends do not need a public link to see a finished card.
Admin access
Site administrators can view all rounds for support and moderation. Ordinary users can only access their own rounds unless a friend, club, or tournament role grants them limited shared visibility.
Hosting & security
Data is stored on private infrastructure secured with HTTPS login and hashed passwords. Absolute security cannot be guaranteed; use a strong unique password.
Delete your account
You can request that we delete your account and associated personal data at https://rudysarchery.com/delete-account. You do not need to be signed in. We process requests within 30 days. We remove your profile, personal rounds and photos, friends, and trophies. Tournament or league scores may remain as an anonymized “Deleted account” so club standings stay intact.
