Vegas 450 or Indoor 300? Pick the face in front of you

2026-08-21 · Rudy

I keep seeing people log a 10-ring night as a 300, or a 5-spot night as Vegas, and then wonder why the standings look insane.

Indoor 300 is 12 × 5, scores 0–5 plus X, max 300. Vegas 450 is 15 × 3, scores 0–10 plus X, max 450. Different face, different end length, different math.

How to choose in ten seconds

  • 5-spot or a 5-zone single spot, five arrows at a time → Indoor 300.
  • 3-spot or 40 cm 10-ring, three arrows at a time → Vegas 450.
  • Your league says “Vegas 300” (ten ends) → this site’s Vegas card is still 15 ends / 450. Log what you shot; do not mix it into a 5-spot league.

X means inner 5 on a 300 and inner 10 on Vegas. Same idea, different points.

Why I split them on the site

If I let you type any number on any format, someone will enter a 10 on a 5-spot and a 5 on a 10-ring and the club officer will spend the night cleaning it. The keypad only offers legal scores for that format. That is on purpose.
